More Roar! Lexington t-shirt designs Part 4

Friday, February 27, 2009 | |

This is another design using the beasts vector pack, I don't want to take credit for designing this from scratch as that would be wrong. I'm not sure whom actually designed the beast packs but they have saved me an awful lot of time in designing the t-shirts. Having some sort of pre-made vector to base your work off of & work with is a day to day practice for designers. Creating & sharing original design work is key in this industry and I'm glad there are some very talented vector designers out there.

This is the "More Roar! Lexington" t-shirt design, it's a 2 colour vector image.

3D Robot-Angel! Lexington t-shirt designs Part 3

I decided to design a 3D anaglyph image for the newest Lexington t-shirt! The anaglyph is that 3D style in which you have to wear the old school cardboard glasses with the red & blue lenses in order to see the effect. Super cool!
I think the plan will be to give away a FREE pair of the 3D glasses with the t-shirt which is called "3D! Robot-Angel"

This is a 3 colour vector image.

Vamp Grills! Lexington t-shirt designs Part 2

This design is a play on the urban city style that's captivated the scene as of late, mixed up with my favorite mythical creature.. the Vampire! Again this is a vector image I limited to 3 colours for t-shirt printing purpose.
In my opinion, as a city dwelling vampire, a lord of the night.. you would be the most stylish blood sucker ever if you were to rock a pair of Gold & Diamond studded Grills. Even Kate Beckinsale would take notice.

This design is titled "Vamp Grills! Lexington"

In between working on the new Lexington record I've been creating some t-shirt designs. These are some vector images that I've tweeked, twisted, & mangled to my hearts desire.
At this point in time I'm not sure which of the designs will actually make it to print but I'm pretty stoked to have some new merch coming out.

This is the "Roar! Lexington" design, it's a 5 colour design that'll probably be converted to a 3 or 4 colour for print purposes.

The Lexington Ep.

This is a design I created to head our myspace page.
www.myspace.com/wearelexington

It features another design I created within the piece, the original being artwork for "The Lexington EP." This piece is actually an animated .GIF which you can see in action on our page.
I like the simplicity and and use of colour in this design, as well as the hidden images and texture.

The Tiger inside Mookie

My girlfriend Kellie and I are very blessed to have such an amazing little creature in our lives. His name is Mookie (though I have nicknamed him Monkey.) Mookie is a 1 & a half yr old F3 Blue Bengal cat. He is my pride and joy! though as much as I'd like to keep his existence in our house sugar coated I can't lie.. he is a handful and not your regular domestic feline. Bengals are a special breed of cat, a cross between the domestic cat and the wild Asian Leopard. They are beautiful but need to be cared for by someone educated about the breed and someone that can handle a little wild animal with energy and high intelligence. P.S. wild instincts mean wild actions.. like aggressive attacking. lol.

This is a piece I did a few months ago using a photograph I took myself with a Nikon D40. I wanted to see how much I could get away with mixing graphic tricks with this simple pic to create a surreal photograph that displayed Mookies personality. Cute on the outside but a wild personality in the inside.

Lexington in Sin City NY! Photo Retouching/Graphic Art

This is a piece I finished a couple days ago. It is one of the promo shots of my band Lexington.
The original photograph was taken by a great photographer named Jesse Baumung.
I wanted to try my hand at the very popular "Sin City" or "Dave Hill" look with this photograph but still keep some of my signature style. I think it turned out well.
